    Wow, that brings back memories!

I resisted having a mobile phone for years but my first one was a Nokia 7110 (aka the Matrix phone) in circa 1996.

Since then I have probably had 20+ phones including Blackberry and now I keep flipping between iOS and Android. :scream:

Earlyish adopter here after a bad bike crash experience with the missus after not being able to find her after a crash. Life savers.

Some big plastic Philips things with one line of txt.(Nowadays she would rather look at the phone than ride a bike!)

I was the last person I knew to get a pager('99), the last person I knew to get a cell phone('03), and the last person I knew to get a smart phone('18).

I'm still on the fence with the smart phone. I don't really need it. I take calls and send occasional texts and that's it. I don't need all that other sh*t.

My first mobile phone was from work back in the mid 90's, a Nokia something or other. I got my first one for personal use around 2000 which I blagged foc from a family member who was upgrading. The only new one I purchased was a Nokia X3 followed by my first iphone, again blagged from a family member. Then came an upgrade to a 5s, you guessed it, blagged foc from a family member. It's handy for the odd photo and vid clip but I'm not really into all this APP crap so there's no way I'm paying £xxx for the latest iphone 2372458........

Not a phone addict. All I want is it works.
Had that one for years, the iconic Nokia 6310. The battery could last 10 days without charging.

Then I finally entered into modern world and have an Iphone 5SE for more than 10 years..
As long as it works, I won't change.

It's weird at how the battery life of new phones is considered "amazing" if it lasts more than 1 day?
    Bonkers.

I have had countless devices from the early 90s of the last millennium for private interest and primarily for business reasons. I have probably spent money worth of a good bike on it. After my return to biking, I have tested and used numerous devices from Chinese manufacturers. I currently use a Doogee S97 Pro. The smartphone is an outdoor device, ultra stable, waterproof and a great navi on the bike. In addition, the battery (8500 mAh) lasts up to 1 week.

Wow that’s some variety of phones. I started off in 1988 with an NEC house brick which doubled up as a rubbing block when I couldn’t find a real block!

I think that my favourite phone I had was a nokia communicator.
We were given the black one and then the silver one came out so we then had that.
We could even use it as a 32k modem! Crikey!

    Siemens x 2, Sony Ericsson x1
Blackberry x 2, Samsung s3 mini, s3, s5,s7 and s9. My mrs upgraded her s9 to s20 but it is crap, screen sensitivity issues, so for now I am keeping my trusty s9.
