I didn't really warm to this when it came out. Probably because it wasn't 'old' AIC. Funny how it grows on you.. awesome tune
Forget tunes, here's a a proper soundtrack. Video of the lovely sounds from my 790 Bonnie with Norman Hyde Togas, 1200 Harley-Davidson Bobber with open pipes and finally my 6.0 V12 Aston Martin. Enjoy!
I'll see your Led Zep hair and raise you a pair of Nazareth perms with a side of Zappa moustache, delivered in a suitably named song.
You cant raise against Led Zeppelin - its against the law. Especially a rare track that never appeared on an album - that’s the hole grail.
I realise this may be a bit controversial for some but it reminds me of a time when this country was a powerhouse. If you don't like to be reminded of our empire days, don't watch.
Hahaha, fine riposte! That was one of my dads favourites, except the version he liked was a skiffle cover by Lonnie Donegan
As an American, I completely embrace nostalgia for Britain's greatness. As a country and as an Empire they've done far more good for the world than they've ever done bad. I'd also prefer us to have a strong ally than a weak one.
Apparently Neil denied the political message and said it was just a good story/lyric for a song. Not sure I believe him, and it’s too late to ask now.
It’s worth watching the film they made of his life “Sex and drugs and rock and roll” with Andy Serkis playing Ian... he had some great players about him, But Norman Watt-Roy is just fantastic.
