Tigger went for a run with his new friend Piglet.

Piglet is son #2’s learner bike.

    5169A500-0917-40E3-8AD0-7FE2C49AC205.jpeg

Managed 80 miles of every type of riding - including filtering on the A3, off roading (or it seemed) on a detour near Ewhurst, back country roads and towns.

    Nice day out.

Edit: Really pleased with son #2 - he did well!

Edit 2: Just realised I probably spoke more to him in three hours than I have in the last ten years. Great

Quick ride to road test the new seat, backrest needed minor adjustments to be most comfortable  motorways still quiet with lockdown, but more workers out with reduced levels. Looks like 2-3 more weeks and we will hit the magic 90% vax rate to open up : unamused: Strange seeing a MacD closed:eek:

Today I changed the last of my vacuum hoses...the one from the airbox to the CPU...as, like all the other vacuum hoses it was that brittle plastic stuff that was starting to split.

So I changed it and used silicone hose instead. In orange of course because...well...why not!?

Another swift, satisfying little job that allows you to get up close and personal with your steed should you wish.

Bad photos attached, after tank put back, as I forgot; and I ain't removing that tank again for no one...not even you lot!

Glad that seat is working out other than some back rest adjustments, @Dartplayer. Speaking of that seat, is that sushi I see sitting on it?

Yeah, it's very hard to imagine a McDonald’s being closed. :p It’s also hard to imagine--as someone who lives in the United States--that you are nearing 90% vaccination rates! We’re quite a way off from that here. :( Your post made me curious about the percentage of Americans who have been fully vaccinated. That currently stands at 59%. Even the states with the highest rates are around 70%. Arizona is lagging behind at 53%. And hardly anyone seems to be wearing masks these days.

Oops, I don't mean to derail the thread.........back to Triumphs. :joy: Mine sat in the garage today but will be on the road tomorrow morning.

Interesting, thanks @Sandi T. Yes, sushi, sashimi and miso - my go to.
Business has suffered under lockdown and 90% is ambitious for 1.5million, but follows our shut borders for 0 cases, until the latest variant
Still waiting to go on a decent ride to do my feedback thread

I had the same thing on a busa and it was the fuel hoses collapsing internally when you gave it gas. Ok when normal.

Five members (I use that term loosely!) of our Sunday morning ride group met up at 9:00AM this morning with no predetermined plan. We've started meeting an hour later than we have been since now we're basing our ride time on when it has warmed up rather than hitting the road before it's blazing hot! The group consensus was to ride north up to Oracle to one of our favorite haunts, the Oracle Patio Cafe. The bike mix today consisted of my Speed Triple RS, a Suzuki Ninja 400, and three Harleys--a Sport Glide, a Street Glide, and an Ultra Classic. So I was the only one rockin' a Triumph today. ;) I'd have just shown you a photo of the bikes but I got home from the ride and pulled into the garage and realized---NO BIKE PHOTOS! :p What the heck?! Well, you'll just have to trust me and suspend the "no photos, didn't happen" rule this one time. ;)

The temperature when we started our was in the low 60'sºF with beautiful sunny blue skies and nary a cloud to be seen. Traffic was down a bit from what it has been lately--thankfully. We got a great table at the restaurant which now has outdoor seating exclusively. We commented how thankful we all are that in Tucson we can pretty much always find a restaurant (or bar) with a great outdoor dining area. And that's good because Covid is rising yet again in Arizona. Sigh.......:(

So anyway, I only have a couple of photos to share from our Sunday ride and one isn't really even a photo. It's a screen shot of the weather in Oracle! Sorry to be such a total slacker today.:rolleyes::joy:

Here's my breakfast--the special quiche of the day with corn, sausage, pesto, and some kind of cheese but I don't remember what. The scone of the day was very unique and one they'd never made before--chocolate chip and blood orange. Both sounded just a little strange but I went out on a limb and ordered them and was glad I did. Delicious! I did opt for the potatoes over the fruit--I've been feeling a little too healthy lately and balance is important. :joy:

After breakfast we rode what we call the Webb Road Loop which adds about 30 additional miles to the out and back from Tucson to Oracle. And it's the best part--very twisty and hilly and rarely any cars on it at all. All in all a lovely ride with lovely friends and about 90 miles on the clock. I love my Speed Triple. :D:heart:

Even though there’s no pics (so you made this lot up…;);):)) it’s still a great write up and I had a weekend like yours!
Adele called me to ask me out again (I declined as she’s always banging on about her bloody ex’s) and Ed sheeran wants me to sell him my bike for £1m (as long as I get it serviced first) I decided to not sell as I’d just got the satnav upgrade. Also, I’ve finally been accepted back into the royal family to replace harry. I’ve been sent a script for the new Baldwin film but there’s too many guns so I turned that down obviously…
No pictures though so I suppose it never happened and you won’t believe me. Oh well.

Putting a gel pad into the speed rs standard one. For something that’s meant to be a comfort seat already, it’s a bit hard. So, £16 on eBay for the pad, stanly knife, stapler and a beer ready, I went for it.
I marked up the square with a sharpie and cut to a depth of 1cm (depth of the gel pad) and cut out the square.
Way, WAY more comfortable and only 45 minutes all in. Just in time to put the bike away for winter. Oh well.
Ps, you really can only just see the difference on the seat while the photo makes it look more prominent than it really is.

Fitted my Innovv K3 dual camera's. The rear camera was easy:
    20211115_161059.jpg
    As was the remote:
    20211115_161745.jpg
The front proved more of a challenge though. I first fitted it on the handlebars, but those vibrated too much, and also, due to the wide-angle lens, my flyscreen was visible in the corner. I ended up adapting the bracket to fit the clamp holding the dual headlights. Nice fit now, and nicely tucked away.

I'd definitely consider Ed Sheeran's offer, Ducatitotriumph. ;):) The rest are just everyday occurrences in your life, I suspect. :joy:
