    Had a rumage through all my parts and found a few grands worth of parts i had just lying around that i will use on the restoration :)

    Wow don’t know what to make of this thread. First thoughts either a lucky punt with your stash of spare parts or someone who is more akin to a warehouse.

    Excellent cheers I will have a look when u see those first images its fascinating to see how a project begins. I look in envy as I wouldn’t have the time and more importantly the skill

    I found a 67 TR6C that had been converted into a chopper years ago in the US and then forgotten about and stripped down when the engine expired, so i'm going to restore it to original as when it left the factory, luckily i have found most of the original parts i will req other than a few that i'm on the hunt for.

    The end result will be the same as always, better than when it left the factory.

    A bottom yoke, front frame fuel tank fitting (cut off as it was a chopper in a past life), carb, side stand, front mudguard frames, oil tank, 66 on flanged front hub and a small fittings and nuts n bolts.

    Picked up my project today, looking at it on the bench i thought i might build a chopper but Su soon put a stop to that lol.

    Spent a few hours cleaning the filler off the frame and cutting off the rear frame and bodged side stand lug, next job is to fit a new front tank mount and new side stand lug.

    what are you going to do about the sidestand lug? i have a 66 TR6 frame with the lug broken off.
