Brings back memories of watching it on bbc's Grandstand every Saturday when I was a kid.

 

Vic Eastwood, John Banks, Arthur Browning. Great days on a good old black and white tv.

Yes brilliant memories. Used to go all over with my dad to meetings. The noise and the smell from the racing still lives with me

 

What a fun video! Thanks for posting it, Pegscraper. Some great riding skills among those riders and on bikes that I'm sure must have been quite different than modern day off road and dirt bikes with their light weight and high tech suspension.

I also enjoyed seeing the old cars and the fashion of the times. Speaking of "fashion", I think I had the exact same blue snowsuit that kid had on at 4:12 into the video.
