    Hello,
Here is this newbies first post! I have a 2017 t120 with about 1200 miles on her. At least that what she had when I bought her. i have already put about 600 more on. Absolutely love the bike, but if I take my hands off the handlebars from 55 - 65 mph I get a wiggle in the steering. I have no issues while riding, but only when I remove my hands. I don't usually remove my hands, but sometimes it's neccessary for a few seconds. I'm wondering if it's may the wheel is slightly out of balance? Any suggestions?
    Thanks!

As others say, these will probably cure the issue.

It is 4 yrs old with 1200 miles on it so has stood a lot. Tyre could have a flat spot

    Chain out of line.

Welcome to the family. Yes you have all the right answers here. I would stay with the wheel balance and tyres to start.

Hi Rich and welcome to the forum  as stated check the head bolts, but definitely sounds like tyre pressure or wheel balance. :p Best wishes on sorting the issue

If the tires are original, I'd start there. My T120 had some shake until I replace the OEM 2x4's with Avon Storms. Much, much better.

Not got any kind of rear rack or carrier fitted? I used to get this with my VFRs and ZZR1200. Remove rack, happy as Larry. :)

I occasionally get wobbles due to luggage. Once was the luggage rack mounting bolts coming loose  and some other times it's panniers not being rigidly held in place. Other times it's not luggage related, e.g. steering head nut coming loose or some unknown mystery cause. Generally, if you keep hands on handlebars then you don't notice these things ;)

Thank you guys for all the answers. I will check on the balance, and on the loose bolts first. I live in NW Indiana so riding is going to be getting slim pretty quick. Might have to wail until next summer to fix it.

Front tyre has developed scalloping , possibly due to tyre inflation rates or counter steering a lot ? Will go away once you replace the tyre !

I have seen identical posts on several bike forums of varying makes. It is a common phenomenon and really nothing to be concerned about. My Fireblade did it, my VFR did it and so did many of my other bikes. Personally, I reckon it is down to tyre wear - even when they still have loads of life in them.

Factory tires are awful, I spent a month trying to figure out a terrible wobble.

It was the front tire. Replaced it and rides like a dream.
