17" Reverse Cones with expandable baffle wadding

After much trial and error I think I am getting close to sound of the bike I like.

Bought this expandable wadding of Ebay, easy to fit and once the bike once up to temp and melted the thread and allowed the wadding to fluff up, there was noticeable difference in the quality of the exhaust note and now engine breathes with ease too.

I think the 26" Reverse Cones would sound even better, but I can't find these in the UK

Maybe they don't, but rear exhausts for the Speedmaster are limited compared to the Bonnevilles.

Like I said the sound recording is poor

 

I think in general the exhaust note from the Bonneville sounds deeper and richer. TEC Bike parts are saying they will be producing an exhaust for the Speedmaster, and if that sounds anything like their Tracker Exhaust System it will be awesome. http://shop.tecbikeparts.com/products/tec-2-1-tracker-full-stainless-exhaust-system
