Rideout Royal Oak Outing Aug 9th

A long way away but before you know it it'll be upon us So:

I am planning a route for some of us southerners to get to The Royal Oak. it involves a few meeting places on the way, with the intention that several of us will meet up, ride and arrive together at the same time.


For starters its all built around The Big Lad, Not wanting him to make the long journey on his lonesome, so timings start with him.


He arrives at Newhaven, T , on the Tuesday at about 7 am I am meeting him, R , at around 8

we then travel to Loomies , I, arriving around 9-930 am where we meet Steve Lovatt, and maybe Nigel Flook and have brekkie.

Leaving there around 9:40-10:15 our next meeting place would be Oxford ,U, around 11:30 ish

Leave there around 11:50 and head to Fenny Drayton , M , for Lunch 13:00- 13:45 ish , . we then do the final push to The Royal Oak , PH ,hopefully arriving around 15:00. avoiding motorways of course. Obviously to try and stick to times we can only have so many meet points.

T The BigLad arrive Newhaven

R Crispey meets The Biglad at Buck Barn

I Steve Lovatt and Nigel Flook join at Loomies

U Roadrider and Noel16 join at Oxford

M Half Ton , Full Ton, Littleade and Rooster join at Fenny Drayton.

PH we meet everyone and talk B"*^8cks


The route is still basic, I will put together links to the stages at a later date and timings are not deadly accurate as yet

Obviously this would be great if all can do it but If anyone wants to change where they meet or can't meet or I have missed anyone let me know but at this stage the locations stay or we could be stopping everywhere

and if there is anyone else joining us at the pub who can ride up let me know where you can join and I'll add you in, even if its for a little run and a tea at a stop!

 

The beauty is we will be able to update times as we go, it's all ball park at the mo' but once we have the first meet up out the way the times should be consistent from there(ish)
