It makes sense to have something central but I'm happy to travel further afield.

No doubt we'll be seeing pictures of you tucking into platefulls of fish, chips and mushy peas in Whitby then ? As opposed to breakfasts at Loomies.

Do you still have to pay to park your bike in the square Steve?

Good move! Nice roads! Pretty! What swayed it to that area, the roads?

Yes, the only place I know where bike parking is not free. No one pays however, everyone just keeps an eye out for the traffic warden!

Yes that is what I did the last time I was there. As I remember the B road north from the town is a fantastic ride :):)

The B1257 to Stokesley is excellent and known locally as The Yorkshire TT.

I’m disappointed never to have seen you at Loomies. Won’t happen now.

What happened to @crispey? Haven’t seen him on for a while. Do you know?

Sadly not mate - I used to call in there two or three times a week but not often at the weekend.
Crispey is still around, although I haven't met up with him for a while now. He was over in Canada doing his cameraman thing a couple of weeks ago.

Yes, there are quite a few decent places to eat here, (like all the other market towns) and everywhere seems to have at least one baker and a butcher (selling pies of course). I don't remember Winchester having one butcher anymore.

Right that's enough frivolous stuff, let's get down tut brass tacks. Where's next years GMU going to be and where ? As @Wessa said, it has normally taken place over the third weekend in July. Is this ok ?
Scotland has been suggested. If this is too far north where else do you suggest ?
