Will do, Nikki. She didn't pass with flying colours, but who cares...

That is fantastic news, Vulpes! Maybe she was less nervous because you were off in the Alps on Speedy?! ;):joy: Just kidding. :kissing_heart: You two will have much to celebrate upon your return. :D

One of the best women riders that I know definitely didn't pass her BRC (Basic Rider Course) with flying colors either but it didn't hurt her one bit. In fact, I suspect it made her even more determined to become highly skilled. Please give Mrs. V a big congratulatory hug and best wishes from Mr. Sandi and me!

To be fair @Sandi T and @Vulpes I think I’d probably fail the test these days. Sure, lots of wisdom and road craft etc but as for someone following me with a critical eye? I’d be a bag of nerves.

I agree mate - wisdom and skills (hmm..) but an examinator behind me? Not a hope, I don't think.

Mrs. V just read all your comments and thanks you all for the congrats. She was elated you were all so happy for her. Sadly this will probably mean I will have less access to the striple... (thanks @Ducatitotriumph ... :joy:)... we'll be off tomorrow on our first proper ride-out together!

I’d fail the test as I can’t even read the advertisement behind the good Mrs V.

I’d manage, but only if I read slowly. To be fair, that text looks almost (but not quite) as incomprehensible as Welsh. Random selections of letters.

The Welsh took all the consonants whereas the Dutch took all the vowels…

Mix the two together and you get English.

Statistically the letter E is the most used in English, O seems to be very popular in Dutch.

O is not nearly as popular as E in Dutch...

Interesting statistics, although in that poster 25% of readable letters are o and only 6% are e - very different to the official line giving it a standard deviation of er, a lot…

Edit: can’t believe I just counted the sodding letters!
