Took a run over the Sma Glen to Crieff today to meet up with a former neighbour who moved there last year, his bike is coming up to 3 years old and he's only managed to do 450 miles on it (he's been really busy doing up his house) took him on the Loch Earn/Loch Tay loop

    6Kg of camera equipment?

You do know they make lighter and smaller cameras than this?!?

The new fangled digital ones are very practical but you can’t double them up as an accordion and play sea shanties.

Even pro photographers apparently have caddies to carry their equipment and help get the best shot.

Today I replaced the original horn on my Tiger 1200 with a Denali Sound Bomb Mini.
    The conversion is very simple:
Disconnect two cables, loosen one screw and wire the new horn and bend the supplied mounting plates to fit and and screw the new horn to the intended place. Done!
So I finally have no more Roadrunner "Meep Meep"- sound, but a decent horn sound in appealing depth and volume (113 dB).;)

I'm thinking the brushed nacelle that houses the clock in your thread about your friend's creative motorcycle parts "repurposing" is from this Fat Boy, Dougie. Looks like he replaced it with a black one unless this Fat Boy came already blacked out. Is that the case? And....get that buddy out on that bike more often! ;):)

Even if she had her license (she's due to take her test again in 1,5 weeks time) the speed would be too much of a handful for a novice rider, me thinks...o_O:p

Today I fitted the Leather seat cover to the 955i I think it gives a quality bike the look of more than a bike

I was thinking that even the Street Triple might be a handful for a novice, @Vulpes. But it does sound like she's doing well with it during the bits she's ridden it (pre-licensure.....shhhh). ;)

She had a bit of a scare the first time she rode it... Too heavy handed on the throttle, because the bike she has her lessons on needs that. She quickly adapted though. At lower revs it's a pretty docile machine - rev it up and it becomes an angry missile! :p

I’m such a numpty that I’d be sure to take a wrong turn if I rode there and end up on the grid - all kitted out with day glow jacket, flip up helmet and panniers. That wouldn’t be embarrassing at all.

Imagine Mr Bean at the races - only more so…
