This has replaced the Sprint GT, I seem to have turned into a bit of a hooligan overnight. IMG_20210605_084239.jpg

Hello All, I'm chopping in my Speed Triple for this 2019 tiger sport tomorrow. Really looking forward to getting some longer journeys' in, with a bit more weather protection and comfort. I'm doing the NC500 two up (Mrs Cave Bob) and a few friends in a couple of weeks time. Can anyone recommend the best way to mount my Garmin Zumo on the bike? There looks to me a few mounts and cradles out there??

    Cheers, Bob

Triumph do a mount for the tiger sport. I have a 396 which came with the bike and I had the mount fitted by dealer for delivery.

Pretty sure I will. I was "wobbling" about losing my Speedie, but the test ride on the Tiger waylaid any doubt. Bags of power and handled everything Yorkshires roads could throw at it. I think we're going to get on just fine!

I use a Ram Mount, it replaces one of the bolts on the handlebar bracket. It's the RAM-B-367, costs £13.99 + postage.

Cheers Pete, That sounds good value to a tight fisted Yorkshireman like me, I'll check it out too.

Hello All, Couple of photo's from my recent trip round the NC500. Glad to say the Tiger Sport easily coped with everything and held its own against my Nephews Multistrada and his mates BMW S1000. My only issue was not having enough time to set up the suspension to take into account the luggage and Mrs Cave Bob. I'm on the far right at the John O Groats sign, the Stag was called Callum and the last shots at the top of the Applecross Pass (which we did twice). We got round a bit quicker than we thought, so we had a detour to Skye and very nice it is too.

    Cheers, Bob

I didn't manage to get anything sorted in time, so I fell back on my Oxford pouch. I could get it more or less where I wanted it on the bars, but it quickly steamed up if it rained or became unreadable due to glare when the sun came out!!! Still, we just about managed with it. Will get something better sorted soon.

Yeah, I'll be going back for sure. There must be loads more to see and great roads to discover off the 500 Route. Bet it was a hoot on the Speedie! Got to admit I hankered for mine on a fast A road down to Fort William.
    Cheers
