Hello!!! I had the Tiger 1050 and then the GSA LC. I love the GSA but the buffeting and wind noise is unbearable after more than 30mph or 30 mins depending on what comes first! So I visited the Triumph showroom and booked the test ride for the XCA for next week. I will update with a report and see how the screen compares to the GSA. I am 6ft 3in and have a C3 Pro so if anyone else out there is of a similar size, how do you find the XCA screen? Also, does the TEX come with an option to fit a quick shifter? After having one on the GSA I have become lazy! And can Triumph hard wire a GPS mount and where does it fit?
No quick shifter as far as I know, wiring sat nav is not a problem, sat nav bracket supplied by Triumph clamps onto screen frame, screens I cannot comment, I have touring screen on my 2015 model and it's fine for my 6 0" had it on the last one. Friend has just swopped his 2013 model for the new one with touring screen and says it is much better, slightly different shape and winglets standard. Teejay
Tried quite a few different screens of various heights for the GSA. I took off the factory winglets and that improved the buffeting but was replaced by ear piercing wind noise...never experienced such a rackets on any other bike Ive owned? Looking forward to the test ride!
