Noticed the clutch cable adjuster had some rust appearing (chromed steel) so decided to make my own in brass. Doesn't show up as very golden in the pic but should look good on the bike when I put it on.

Just went up the road and the adjuster has definately given me at least 2 MPH at the top end, honest!

Along the sea front with the traffic?

Maybe you headed East to Brighton’s insane and dangerous cycle/parking configurations - there’s a whole wide promenade with a pre existing cycle lane (largely unused) but the Council fcukwits decided to also close off a road lane to create an extra unused cycle lane with cars parked legally haphazardly in the middle of the road. I almost crashed wondering wtf…

If you did that, you probably made it to maybe 9 miles an hour? Maximum.

As an aside, college year is coming to an end and I might have a bit of time on my hands. If any body is interested in one of these just post a comment. I can't promise anything , but it will be the cost of postage if you're interested.

9 mph? I never get to those heady speeds.

I am sure people would like quality items like that but they wouldn’t suit my more industrial Tiger 800.

My father in law spent ages finding someone that could machine a complicated part of his old Riley.

    You have a real talent.

Nice job. I find it fun to machine up hardware bits for my bikes too. Just finished a shifter rod out of stainless hex bar for my '02 America. Also a bracket out of aluminum flat bar to mount a fog light on the side of my radiator on my Legend. Great way to pass the time in the winter months especially.

I have rust on my 2016 Speed Triple, annoying as hell.
Give Triumph a buzz and sell them the solution. They might add it as an accessory "Rust Free Cable adjuster £99"

A medium straight knurling tool that has opposing wheels above and below the part. Took about 8 passes.

Now you have to make us all one to match your bike. Very good looking.
