No you won't mate! I'll be in a bike buying phase very soon. I think you'll find bike buying is a way off for you.

But it WILL be worth it - honest.

Work, not sure how you pull a sickie from the wife.
She's quite happy for me to go to bike shows without her. Went to bike4life on my own.
This time she didn't miss much either.

You just send her to work stay in bed a little longer and then go to a mid week show!

Please don't tell anyone, but I use my Burgman more than my Trophy. I bought both more or less at the same time and the Burger has 15K kilometers on the clock whilst the Trophy has only about 6K. The Burger is my go to first bike for most trips.
Yikes now I'm going to be excommunicated from the Triumph Club

And just to add to that, bought my Bonneville with 3300, now 6k, bought a Chinese ER6 copy image.jpeg (in other posts on here) 3300 also now 10,700 and I've owned it a lot shorter time too!

That's a big confession! You will become the new "biglad" as he rises like a phoenix from the ashes of non - bike ownership with his soon to be acquired Tiger!

At least your Avatar is the Trophy - if the Burger appears there - you're out!

I'm looking for a classic as a project to restore and run. The sad thing is that although I 'should' be looking for a 50's or 60's model Trumpet I keep being drawn towards a nice big 650 A10 'Bezza' of around the same vintage

I think the Beezas were much stronger and longer lasting. Was always a big BSA fan, started on a Starfire and an A65 Rocket when I passed the test.
While at school aged about 15 my mate got his maulers on a super rocket for a fiver, jeeeeeeez.
He painted it lime green with BRG coloured stars on the tank and a tangerine frame, wow it was a hell of a looker for its day, tho i bet the value plummeted somewhat. It was so cool when he turned up to school on it...........even tho he was only allowed to the once, lol
