Scratched Headlight

Good evening, this afternoon a friend brushed the headlight of the motorcycle and I would like to know if it is possible to remove the friction with polish or at least hide it so that it is seen as little as possible.

I would take it to a car body repair shop to see if they can help you. They may be able to remove it with some very fine wet and dry paper followed by machine polishing.

If the lighthouse is polished afterwards, it would have to be lacquered, right?

Toothpaste ! Google it as it’s a great for car lenses etc to get them sorted

I have heard things about this but I have never seen the final result in person, I will look and if I see it really interesting I will

From the photo the damage looks to be on the clear plastic part of the headlight? If so I doubt it would be lacquered but it would be a good idea to check this with your dealer

Yes, it is in the transparent part ... it is very little and you have to look closely to make it look but it is only a month old and I am sorry to leave that like that ... I would not be at peace with myself ‍ ♂️

I think it will need a professional to have a look at it, any attempt to "polish" it out will no doubt leave the area looking dull and worse than it is already. If you can't live with it as it is that would be my recommendation.
