Hi, I am new to Triumph and looking at the Speed Twin and adding some custom bits. Does anyone know or can recommend black or other spoked wheels similar to the ones being sold by Lind for the Street Twin and Cup. Seen some eyewatering beautiful but expensive ones from canyon motorcycles and wondering if anyone has experience and or advice (yes I know I should leave well alone :))

If I still had a thruxton I'd have swapped wheel with you, I'm sure im not the only one. Only problem is you'd have to get them powdercoated or painter black.

Thanks. Yes, I had a Triumph dealer look into the Thruxton as I think they share the same wheel size.

Reading this thread, I was wondering if you can easily powder coat spoked wheels, if you can get it done without removing the spokes then that would probably be a great budget option that also gives the wheel excellent corrosion protection.

Thanks. The speed twin wheels are the strut type not the spoked wheels but it looks like you can fit the thruxton wheels on a speed twin which unless I go for some custom ones which I am a little wary of (not least as they cost >2k). Much appreciated.

"The speed twin wheels are the strut type "

Doh! Yep sorry. Big practical advantages with weight, inherantly tubeless and corrosion resistance, but black spokes do look great, can see the draw.

Yes. Everything I had read said the speed twin was the better ride (and the wheels etc probably a big part of that) but still love the slightly more retro look. Still looking as the Triumph part reference above does not fit a speed twin.

According to triumph (lind) that does not fit a speed twin. :( - pain as that would have been a great option.
