    Hi everyone.

I used to use a set of throw-over panniers for the bird. however I have changed the seat and they no longer fit under it.

so now looking to buy a new set. I have the detachable sissy bar so will be looking for ones compatible with that.
I also run with a pillion so bundling stuff on there isn't an option.

I don't fancy paying £650 for the triumph ones can anyone recommend any others?
    The bigger the better.

    Cheers

went for the grantour bag and krauser panniers should arrive Friday. Might need some engineering to make them fit with the sissy bar

I put the Triumph ones on mine , I definately didn't want anything with tassels on it.
Have to admit I would rather have OEM bags on it but that's just me personally

I put everything on last night but will have to re-fit the panniers as there isn't a lot of thread holding them on. I have bought 100mm bolts which should do the trick. Watch this space.

Never got the tassel thing either - especially the ones sprouting out of the handlebars!

Well folks bike all set up at work this morning.

the clearance between the rear bolt and sissy bar need some re-working (going to cut it down a little). I had to use 100mm bolts instead of the supplied 80's and 90's. the spacers supplied don't fit on the rear bolt with the sissy bar so had to get creative with three nuts.

My plan is to cut a 'notch' out of the sissy bar big enough for the bolt with spacer fitted just to finish it off a little better.

And yes I know it needs a clean.
