The idea is to take of 10kg dead weight of the bike, This is a easy task looking at how heavy all parts are. Just in easy things like seat, footrests, Lithium battery etc...
First just a positive plug and over this I make the negativo mould, The parts is to be made in cf as I always do.
I haven't dedicate much time at the bike today, I just had some base coat at the polyurethane plugs making them more stable I gave also fixed the new seat base to the oem hinges
This morning I border the ferry going Gran Canaria to Huelva as I have sold my Cagiva Raptor to a guy at the mainland, at same time I’m going to pick up my next project (Guzzi 1000sp), as it’s a 32h journey each way I will take a stop some days in Sevilla for tapas and beer... Therefore I won’t make no updates at the Bonni for some days..
Good day I’m back at the island ready to give the Bonni another go, My mayor problem is I haven’t got the parts I ordered from UK a month ago, I talk with UPS and have been told it’s due to the Brexit and that they has packages on hold in customs since February and that everything coming from England don’t have any delivery date! Not fun at all....
We could set up a bit of a club here. We could pay our US buddies to buy what we need from Lowbrow, Choppers Inc, Triumph.com etc and we could buy all the UK parts for our mates in the US and in Europe. No import charges cause we are sending stuff to a mate. Oh wait........
