Annually, @Dougie D, you have to love your riding.:p
That’s per bike too, no understanding that you can only ride one at a time. Many guys put their rego on hold (as I do for my V8) while not using them, but it has to be a minimum of 3 months. If you want to use it within the 3 months, you pay the lot. Get caught using an on-hold vehicle and you pay back to last registration :scream: which can be years.

And then you look at what we pay in Excise Duty (tax) in our fuel to ride and you’ll feel sick. 91 is around $2.20/litre and 96 is $2.45 in Auckland. From 1 July 2020, the rate of PED is 70.024 cents per litre

Diesel is only $1.50, but you pay Road User Charges on top of that.
The cost of a RUC distance licence for a light vehicle — for example, a car, van or ute — is NZD$76 per 1000km, including GST.
UK fuel duty is currently 57.95 pence per litre for petrol and diesel.

In England, our prices are round £1.35/£1.40 for unleaded and diesel depending on the area you are buying in
    I think that's about AUD2.55 and USD 2.00 and EUR1.65

Wait till Covid is 'over' and prices will go up a lot as traffic increases again

Road tax is just another means to filling the coffers..
(I know I'm going to get loads of sympathy, but....) If you're lucky/stupid enough to buy a new-ish car with a new list price over £40k then it's an additional £335/yr for 5 years - just because HM Gov think you can afford it.
