    Hi Crispey
Thought I better let you know, been held up test rides due to weather, but todays been the day, and to coin a del boy saying " Ive only gone and done ". My Thruxton is down to pick up for 01Jun. Probably the only person in the country to have a dual comfort seat on order.
Took the T120 out first, its quick but I felt the weight over my se bonnie found it was a tug to take around bends. Then I picked Nikki up and with the bikes extra weight and her it did not feel much quicker than my bonnie and she was complaining of ear vibration with the pea shooter exhaust with her relative position on the seat. Did not notice it myself.
So next up Thruxton R, It works out about 24 kg lighter than T 120 and it shows, Yes you an,t ever going to be as comfortable as the T 120
But I thought it was ok and although its power is allsome you can ride it in a relaxed manor. The handling is really fab and I can see that I will never take it evan close to its limits. Just taken this gamble that she will fit on the back ok. The dealership spent a lot of time on the phone to Triumph sussing out my requirements, grab rail still being sorted etc.
Oh yes and those brakes look good and work well....... very well.

Well that's great news, A dual seat Ri
!! if she doesn't like it she can always stay at home and watch " cats have a better surgeon than you' or some such thing, or buy a tiger as well, it'll be for her comfort of course!

Buy a Tiger as well seems to be the sensible option!
