anyone used a web site called Get Geared.
Painfully slow delivery is the only word I can use.
I bought some jeans, on 29thMarch after chasing them up they eventually arrived on 8th April (they were in stock btw)
I had to return them the next day as I had ordered wrong size, so that's 9th April, still I'm waiting for the return jeans. (Again there in stock)
It's funny, I wasn't in any hurry for the jeans to start as I had ordered a new bike.
I've now had the bike, and it's due its first service.
Will stick with sportsbikeshop from now on

Yes Sportbikeshop are very good. You can visit them in Boston, Lincs. Not a huge shop area but all their stock is in several large wearhouses on site. I would go mid week when it's quiet. Great service and a huge range of stock eg 15,000 helmets. I think they are currently building another shop on site.

I would love to use my local shop Dougie.
Remember buying my last helmet. Local £380, online £199 (free delivery) asked for a more compedative price (didn't have to be £199)........ Nothing not a penny.

I have a getgeared and a J&s near me so rarely need online unless there's a huge price difference. Both offer good in shop service

Used them in the past, as you said slow on delivery.
    Prices are good thou.

  8. Get Geared are slow with poor service, I've only ever used them once - can't be doing with chasing stuff, life is too busy.

I've used Ghost Bikes a number of times and they have been excellent and their "black" paddock stands are tremendous value for money. I've returned a rucksack to them that was faulty and they were really helpful. I swapped it for a tank bag that I didn't like and then swapped that for a tail pack which is excellent. They were really helpful throughout and made it all as easy as it could be.

I've also bought a lot of stuff from J&S online and Sportsbike shop and they have been fine too.

I prefer to use my local dealer for riding gear, best to try it on etc. They can usually get stuff in the right size pretty quickly. Also got some boots from Sportsbike Shop, ordered on Monday pm, arrived by Friday am, can't complain.
