    @littleade
Ade, best of luck with op #1 tomorrow! I'll be thinking about you and sending good vibes across the pond.:kissing_heart::heart: Hopefully all will go smoothly and you'll be on your way to a quick and complete recovery. And you'll be prepared and practiced up for op #2. Please let us know how it goes! Though you may need to use the ne-handed hunt & peck method or voice dictation for a bit.

Had the first chance to have a ride in sunny weather with temperature above 70f. I just did a quick little run through the local country after work. I finally got to bed in the new EBC double H pads, and they are amazing! I’ve got no worries about having brakes now! After heat cycling them as instructed on the EBC site, they have enough grip I think I could stand the bike on its nose. Unless I was on some speed demon track somewhere I can’t see ever needing more.
Also tried out a new pair of riding jeans made by a company called Dyns, made in the EU somewhere. Not sure where. They fit really well, I’ll be doing a review later today for the clothing and gear threads.

A few photos (in the sun at last!)
A few photos now the sun finally came out!
Full list of changes: Bought the bike with wire wheels, de-cat, V&H cans and tail tidy. Added (all from ebay!) clip-on handlebars, relocated front indicators, monza fuel cap, Tec gas shocks, progressive fork springs, Street Twin seat (which I swap with the original as the mood takes me!), Tamarit side panels, high flow air filter, Thruxton tinted front screen and a couple of fork protectors. Also de-restrict cam from Tec. Would like to try painting the front mudguard with a wide silver and then thin yellow stripes. Got a cheap used one in case it goes wrong/looks rubbish! Would like some rear-sets but oh so expensive!

Not much but I put on some genuine triumph decals on the carbon tank/battery cover.
To me, it looked wrong being just carbon and needed them back on. £42 though but makes it look way better imo.
Then, bloody cleaning up for tomorrow...!!

    Hi @Sandi T !!!
My son gave it to me as a good luck charm after my hayabusa accident 16yrs ago and it follows me on every bike i've had since!
He called it leo (his idea) and i've not had a ticket or wobble since!
Needs cleaning every few months but it's my biking chum!

That's AWESOME, D2t! Leo is clearly a very powerful good luck charm. :) What a great little biking chum. Plus Leo looks like he enjoys the rides based on his wild mane! :p What a sweet thing for your son to do for his dad.

Sure is @SleepyOwl a new Trident from a traded Bonnie Speedmaster and Tigers of all kinds from the Thunderbird riders waiting for a new model.
We still have many old school Storm and Rocket riders to keep the balance up:cool:

Where was it? Behind the sofa, in the attic, or in a cardboard box in the shed?!?

That was on the road back, once I found a spot where I didn’t think the bike would fall over on itself in soft ground :)

Started the break in miles on my 1200 XE. What an awesome bike. I started gathering parts to change lights front an back, windshield, bar roll, mirrors. Now I just have to stop riding long enough to put on her new parts and make her my own.

You'll find this to be a bit of a tough crowd at times, Aaron.:joy: A commonly used phrase on this forum is "no pictures--didn't happen". ;)

    Hi @Dartplayer !
What are the owners thoughts on the trident?
I prefer the look of that design more than the big logo tank version imo.
    Looks a nice day!
