Reminds me of the time when we had a large delivery of bubble wrap in work, asked my supervisor what I should do with it. "Just pop it in the corner over there" Best 6 hours I have ever spent in work. :):)

Possibly someone money laundering. Sell a totally crap item for a sizeable sum. The seller gets legitimate explainable cash in their account. The buyer is unknown and maybe uses a stolen card or recycles cash back into the legal system. Although the seller does shift a lot of stuff with good feedback...

Maybe it’s a way to turn a stolen bike (with hot VIN details) back into a legal bike with a new identity and with the papers? You nick a bike, buy this frame head and papers (presumable from a legally scrapped bike) and weld it on to the nicked bike. Presto a whole legal bike.

Don't ever let anyone tell you that the diminutive .25 auto is not a viable self defense round. Often derided as a "mouse gun" or "poodle popper," I can tell you from personal experience that the .25 ACP is a life saver.

A few years ago my girlfriend and I were hiking in the Colorado Rockies. We thought we were doing everything right to avoid a confrontation with a bear. We had bells on our backpacks, we were talking loudly, and scanning the tree line and underbrush constantly. But, it happened. Out of nowhere, a large, male grizzly lumbered out of a small stand of elders and stood up on its hind legs, roaring, not twenty-five yards in front of us. He looked to be all of 700 pounds and eight feet tall. Terror gripped us. We started backing up slowly, raising our arms, so as to appear as big as possible, and shouting "Go away, bear! GO AWAY!" To no avail. The big bruin charged, spewing saliva, huffing and growling at a full gallop.
He would be on us in no time! I pulled my trusty Baretta M950, .25 auto, stoked with 50 gr. Remington FMJ slugs, from my pants pocket and took careful aim.
All it took was one well-placed shot to my girlfriend's knee and I was able to safely walk away at a brisk pace.
