As per the title, one leftover connector, that has grease and grime in the terminals, making me think it was never connected to anything in the first place? Do you recognise it, or could perhaps trace it for me, knowing its exit from the wiring loom? Many thanks again as always
StuarT595 Can't help but you are probably right it is a loose connection. They do fit some that are used for dealer diagnostic reasons or just for some accessory. If the bike runs without it just leave it there. Joe.
Spare connector to a fuel injector on a four cylinder model, Daytona 600? Wasn’t the wiring loom pretty similar on those models?
This has legs, YM...it’s the same type of connector for sure! Anyone else out there corroborate that?
My T509 has a couple of sockets unconnected but i know one is for connection tuneecu or similar, the other may be for US Market. Is it not on the wiring diagram?
It might be, but that’s well out of my league reading one of those. I wonder if the EVAP system has an electrical connection?
Yes the evap system for the US market has an electrical connector so it’s either for that or the fourth injector on a four cylinder model. Are you getting close to starting the bike, your other posts about the fuel tank are making me think it’s getting close?
Brilliant, thanks for the info. I’ll just ignore the connector I think...maybe even remove it once I’m 100% sure it’s redundant. I’ve just got to fit that oil gear/cog screw and put the clutch in. Waiting for the screw and fuel hose o-rings to arrive
