Arthur, have a look here https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1000394/Triumph-Sprint-St.html I have no idea whether yours is an ST or an RS but this service manual download may help. It may be the wrong bike completely and it may be of no use whatsoever. I now seem to have a downloaded service manual for a 955i Triumph lookalike thing in my computer somewhere.
Morning .thanks so much very great full.my one is the sprint 995i.never done anything like this before my car yes this thing another world away from the old two pots.modern times.
Welcome buddy You are a biker. When you start opening that throttle, watching that needle climbing, feeling the wind..........all your worries/aches will just vanish. Bless you.
Arthur Sharp. Welcome to the family. Great bike the sprint I love them. Do your rebuild on the rebuilds and projects section and we can all take the journey together. Joe.
Hi joe.thanks for the treating.i really can't wait to ride it.ive got it in the shed ready for getting the old girl sorted.(not the wife.) .I went to our daughters in London found a British bike shop an spares so see what they about the bits I need if not then I'll get them on line.whilst it's stripped I might as well get the cleaning and spraying done.bit gutted having to learn the hard way but it's a fun journey.ride safe mate.
Arthur Sharp No that's one great lady you want to keep on your side. Seems she is a little like my good lady and helps out when she can. Yes the bike is an adventure and you will get it sorted. And don't forget you have a big family here in the asylum to help and spur you on. I have been there and these peeps are terrific. Joe.
I'm a bit slow to the party, Arthur, but welcome nonetheless. Sounds like you have a great wife and quite the project bike. Best of luck with that beast and we'd love to see some photos when you get a chance. Hope you enjoy the forum!
