Very probably, but we are looking for a somewhat more nuanced achievement.

 

I should say that if you are into cars , they are all very well known. Not obscure at all.

OK No1 Which GP driver started his career racing Midget Cars - so obviously not British.

 

No2. That's quite an old car - pre F1 GP - but the driver is very famous - why ?

 

No3 & 4 are F1 cars pre ground effects designs. One is orange. That should narrow the search.
