It’s that time again to trip to a NZ destination and ride with fellow bike lovers, along with our annual requirement to meet as a charitable club.

Day 1 had Northland and Auckland chapters meet up with Waikato to head to founding chapter Whanganui, for the 10th AGM.

AGM pack had some bike cloths and neck scarves from ride forever  A change of clothes and off for some quiet ales and dinner of chicken or beef. The steaks were made to order and great

Early night ready for tomorrow’s breakfast, meeting, and ride :p

Great start to the day with shower and buffet breakfast.

AGM dragged but they displayed a nice Bonneville to be auctioned off tonight.

Then we were off for a run up the historic Whanganui river road.
Narrow and metal in many sections, old knees knew it was all twisties with the pads pushing hard .

Lunch at Raetihi Cosmopolitan club was timely with a cold ale.

The auction of donated goods was very successful, with $5427 raised for St John Ambulance service of Whanganui.
Bonneville SE with great paint job and aftermarket exhausts went for NZ$7000. I got a Thruxton model for $30:cool:

Buffet dinner was good followed by Prizegiving of many well made Trophies for specially selected bike models and types.

    Another successful AGM nearly done

Last day started with BBQ breakfast at the Pumpkin (family park area) which was perfect before a big ride home:heart_eyes:

Splash and dash at National Park, before stopping for gas and lunch at Te Kuiti. Again the scene of awesome cars and bikes from shows on this weekend. :D

Due to lockdown starting again today for Auckland:mad: we split 5 km of traffic queues to head home. :imp: Many of the American iron was overheating in the 2+ hour wait at the checkpoint.
Happy to be home after a fantastic weekend

Loved these videos, Dartplayer! What gorgeous landscapes and skies. I found the Anamoana viewpoint video particularly mesmerizing. I'm glad you got a great weekend of riding in before you go back into lockdown. :(

Thanks Sandi, amazing that the last AGM was the first cases of COVID-19 in NZ in Nelson, where we were this time last year.:imp:
I love the range of corners in the Paraparas, but my knees were getting uncomfortable with the pressure from the pads . Fantastic scenery through the whole region. My first time up the river road:heart_eyes:

@Dartplayer Fantastic videos showing off your fine countryside. Nice to see films of bike runs using the correct side of the road.;);)
