So, I find there are definitely vibration issues with this bike (2013 T100). They aren’t huge, but they niggle.

Firstly, the right side footrest vibrated loose. Cured that with nylon nuts, loctite and a big socket handle.

Secondly, there is a persistent, minor tingle or buzz in the twistgrip. It’s probably a comment on how smooth the bike is generally, I probably wouldn’t notice it on the orange monster but it’s definitely there, and it’s irritating. Doesn’t help that I have been quite unable to get the bar end weight screw to loosen, because a different bar weight, or maybe a bar-end mirror would probably cure it.

It can be tricky to cure vibration in the bars, sometimes different gloves or rubber grips can help. Or the old trick of filling the bars full of lead shot. A mate of mine tried it with some success.

I was once told by a chap that ran a bike shop (30 years ago) that he had been fortunate to have a true trophy girlfriend - way out of his league.

She loved going for rides on his noisy, rumbling, shaking and vibrating old Brit bike. One day he changed it for a modern Kawasaki. She left him the next day.

Turns out she liked the bike - not him.

Brilliant, I used to court a similar girl, it was the big subwoofer in the car that did it :joy:
