What with the weather, lockdown and general boredom I've spent some time looking at accessories for my Thruxton R.
Theres quite a few bits and bobs I might be interested in such as Chain guards, TPS covers, Clutch badges etc which come in a few different finishes.
Just wondered if anyone has any of the extras fitted to their bikes and would share some pictures so I can see what they look like on the bike. Don't fancy forking out my hard earned then finding I don't like the look look them once installed.

    Cheers

I've got a few bits, mirrors I got for less than half price, black throttle covers and fake air covers, black headlight rim, little indicators, aftermarket chainguard. I think they all look nicer than stock but I got most of it on the bike from new as a package. They are probably over priced really, but I can't help tinkering.

A few pictures shamelessly robbed from biketrader website showing the TPS, Clutch badge and ACG cover...

So bored in Lockdown I bought some rear shock bolts in black. Cured the boredom for approximately 30 seconds . 25 seconds were taken up with unwrapping them!

So far, lockdown unnecessary accessories include:
    Motone sump plate.
    Triumph crankcase protectors.
Triumph tank pads (these don’t stick well as per the forums).
    Panniers and fittings.
    Battery charger lead.
    Heated glove lead.
    Replacement shock top bolts.
R&G Rear shock spring neoprene covers.

None of this makes any difference to the ride quality but I now know the sump is protected from stone chips and I can carry some sandwiches.

Pics? Especially of the panniers. And crankcase protectors. Okay, any bike pic would be great. And do you have/want/need a radiator cover?

No, trying to figure if they are necessary...I know it'd be more important for off-road riding. Could just be another spot to add something fun but really trying to judge if it'd be just bling (like replacing a cover) or if I can justify it ;) as "needed."

The TT RS appears to come with a lightweight rad cover, so I cannot see a reason to add another. I have added a front fender extender to stop stones flying up. This will do most of the work I hope.

Superb pic. That extender is hugely unobtrusive (oxymoron?) and certainly looks like it'd take care of any concerns.
