Sold my other remaining bike last week - 2009 Honda XL1000 Varadero (98k kms) and still going strong - quite sad :(. Photo from late last summer. The Africa Twin went last Fall.
Hope the T120 is enough to keep me going... Honda Varadero XL1000 (2).JPG

Yes, I agree, Steve. It is quite sad to say goodbye to our bikes when we sell or trade them. First the Africa Twin and now the Varadero....I hope your choice to sell was a choice and not an emergency or even a necessity. And I also hope the T120 is enough to keep you going. If not, there are always bikes out there that need a good and loving home!

Thanks for asking. Fortunately, it is a decision I made myself - time to scale back a little. Although, when I told the doctor about my aching bones, joints, etc. she reminded me of my date of birth! So, apparently it's normal:rolleyes:. However, the facts of life are that the two other bikes were getting physically too big for me to handle and the Africa Twin was a very wild beast. The T120 is smooth, comfortable and, as I've said before has enough Oomph to give some Harleys up here a run for their money especially in the twisties :D
Pleased to hear lot's of folks still get out riding despite Winter, Covid, etc. ...still snowing here - realistically it'll be April by the time we're back on the road (Hmm? that's a long time - so maybe Mid-March?)

Sure, you can use the beach house.
You would love NZ dive locales and beaches over summer months.
More fine like corn starch, used mainly for thickening soups and gravy :p
Cornmeal is sold in loads of places, however it is not called that in NZ. For the coarse meal it is either called corn grits or polenta.
Corn flour is the result of grinding entire corn kernels into a fine powder.
On the other hand, cornstarch is more refined and made by removing the protein and fiber of the corn.:eyes:

Today I pulled apart the shaft drive on my Moto Guzzi V7 so I could replace the rear wheel, I didn't die and nothing exploded, I'm calling that a win! :D

New front tyre and front brake strip/clean/lube (it's been stood for a while) on the ZZR. Just need to get the motivation to use it. Every time I think about taking it out for a run I end up thinking, "nah, I'll take the Triumph". Looking forward to warmer weather, lockdown easing and a run up to Scotland. :grinning:

Is really bad that manufacturers have not considered the theft of the screens in the bikes designs!

I'm going to put my "old git" hat on again and say I'm not a fan of multifunction TFT screens on bikes or in cars for that matter. Give me analogue clocks any day of the week and the move to touch screens is even more painful. Touch screens are for shopping. :(

That's another thing I really like about the ZZR apart from the obvious. Two large analogue clocks for speed/rpm plus a small LCD for the rest. :)

The nice twin clocks on the Street Cup were a deciding factor over the Twin. The single Twin clock looks cheap in comparison, and I think the TFT displays would just be worse. A buddy just bought a new ditch pump ADV bike and was showing me the display features and while a nice bit of info available there, it was too much. I asked him if it also told him when to take his meds and go for a nap:)

got a Powerbronze "double bubble" screen for my Ducati in "flame red" which reminds me of a cherry sunburst Gibson . I have their flip screen on my TFC and love it

Fitted mine last week along with his screen brace cos I’ve fitted a slightly taller screen.
Also been setting up the Bluetooth connections for the Nav6 but think I need the latest SW update cos I can’t get music to play from the Nav but I can get nav instructions (seen all the YT vids and posts on UKGSER but to no avail)
Tomorrow’s job will be getting the slow puncture in the rear tyre fixed:mad:

Something that colour would look cool on either my T120 or my Gibson Thunderbird :grinning: ....maybe?
