    Hi, @Gmorey. No, I don't own a Speedmaster--never have. I have a friend who had a 2013 and traded it about a year ago. I think he still wishes he had it. I'm not a fan of those spurs though I know they're there for a reason. I'd probably just swap out the pegs for a version I liked that was sans spurs. Unless you think then you'll just snag the pegs themselves!

    I've been riding for over 50 years and I have dragged the foot pegs on bikes but's I can count the number of times on a single hand. With the Speedmaster,which I've have around 7 months, I've hitting them at least once a month! Yeah may change them out!

    A lot of the guys I ride with remove them. My mate with a TBird Storm stood up on the sprag and the bike crossed the road, on a corner :poop:, luckily no one coming the other way.
    I swapped my pegs for half boards

    Bike kicked up on the peg pin that dug in the ground he has removed since.
