    Good Afternoon guys.
Just purchased a W reg Thunderbird 900. One owner from new. All the paperwork and mot etc. Needs to be serviced and gone over every nut and bolt. Really looking forward to the better weather and this year after all the covid crap of last year.
I'm looking for a king and queen seat and back rest must be genuine Triumph as I'm keeping this completely original with accessories. Could anyone help.

    Thanks Phil.

Welcome from another Thunderbird owner. Congrats with your find, they are really great bikes and well built. The one thing to be aware of, is to always, always, always have a healthy battery. The one achilles heal is the sprag clutch, which is not happy with prolonged starting efforts.

This chap in France seems to have lots of second hand Thunderbird parts in fact I’ve just ordered a K&Q seat for my ‘99 Legend which will hopefully arrive soon. You’ll enjoy your bike and as already said here the only weakness is the sprag clutch. If it starts running rough or feels under powered it’ll likely be the Coils. Just had mine done at Milton Common motorcycles for a third of the price at a main dealership. Enjoy https://www.facebook.com/maxence.trimaxmoto
