    Honest Thief

A fairly formulaic Liam Neeson flick but a fun watch nonetheless.

    Goliath, an Amazon series

It stars Billy Bob Thornton in a standout performance as a down and out lawyer in LA.

It's worth starting from season 1 - which I think is the best of them, anyway - there is some character and plot continuity through the seasons.

We watched Deadpool two nights ago then followed up with Deadpool 2 this evening. I'd not seen either one before now. I was never really that interested but I thoroughly enjoyed both movies and laughed my you-know-what off on numerous occasions!

Thanks for the recommendation, @curly. I could use some tonic these days, both with and without gin.

We just watched the first episode of "Resident Alien" and really enjoyed it. Lots of humor but also some interesting relationships developing and some equally interesting points about humanity. Because it's a new series we can't binge watch it, though, and are related to watching it the "old fashioned" way--one episode per week.

    Try "JUSTIFIED".

A bit OTT in places, but generally well acted. Not as good or as 'earthy' as GOLIATH but an entertaining and well made series based on strong character portrayals.

Stick with it - it gets better.

As an aside - and apropos of nothing in particular - if you're a Star Wars person and are watching The Mandalorian, Series 2 kicks off with a character named Cobb Vanth, 'Marshal of Mos Pelgo' played by ......... Timothy Olyphant, the primary U.S. Marshal character (Raylan Givens) in JUSTIFIED.

Well, that's today's nugget of worthless information sorted. Next. :D

I thought he was good in the Mandalorian, enjoyed that.
And in "Deadwood" - excellent show, that.
