    Hi,
Looking for opinions on modulating motorcycle lighting.
I think I’d be dubious about the front lights but maybe the brake light might be good.
Anyone here using modulating lights on their m/ cycle?
    Cheers,Ken.

I agree. Looks like a good buy for the rear but i'd not get a front one at all.
Didn’t realise that you could actually get one for the front.

The newest Superduke has a brake light that flashes under hard braking, think its an option but its available here in the UK so must be legal.

Does it actually flash, or modulate?
    Cheers,Ken.

Like a lot of other legislations that vehicles have to meet its usually down to the MOT and the copper that sees you and recognizes it as to what happens.

I thought all/most modern cars have this feature where under hard braking the brake light rapidly flashes and the hazard lights activate

Flashing brake lights are not new and usually just behave normally until heavy, "emergency stop" type braking is deployed. They can increase awareness unless the tw@t driving has left his foglights on. Don't know about cars and bikes but flashing front lights on bicycles are legal but must flash at a certain cadence, I guess to protect people with epilepsy or similar conditions where flashing lights can trigger fits or seizures.
