I wouldn't think I'm the only one to find this, my feet are only a size 10 but has anyone found the gear lever on the Speed Triple 955i '03 to be a bit long? It would be good to find a lever which is shorter (peg about 20mm forward) so gear changes are more comfortable. Anybody know of a lever that will swap over or an adjustable one which is good value?
I have seen mods for some Triumphs where they use a yamaha scrambler lever but cannot find them right now. could you not just cut say half an inch out of the lever and get it welded up?
Was looking at it again and it looks as if it could be relatively simple to take an inch off and re-position the peg. Would have been fine if I had size 3 feet. Thanks
