    Hi, Jaffa, great deal.
Nice looking bike, old Speeds are so sought after and looks like you have a good one there.
What did you spend the money on?
I got a trade in quote on a 15 Speed Triple, of 5000 pounds.in Oct.
What annoyed me is these things dont go below 4000 pounds ever!
So bikes 10 years older than mine go for 1000 less.
    Anyway. Enjoy.:):):)

we spent most the money on powder coating two tyres, the forks cost £400 to have re chromed stanchions and new seals, plus i changed all the engine bolts to chrome ones then just general bit oil, filter, coolant, rad thermostat, battery, gaskets. three months work has really paid of its very nice as you can se from the pictures total cost around £1600

@jaffa, from the great photos and your big smile, what the bike will be worth will, I think, be more than money can buy. :) What you will be able to sell it for is a different question and another discussion. ;) Thanks for sharing all the photos of your rebuild of this beautiful bike that you've given a new life!

Keep it! It looks like one of those bikes you'd always regret selling

Is it a cat a,b,c or commercial write-off? That will have the biggest impact on value.
