Good day everybody I have bought myself a classic bike, A T140d Bonni. As I’m soon 55 and just recovering from an accident I’m considered change my way how to enjoy riding bikes, So after being riding sport bikes since I bought my first Suzi 750 in 1983 and since that I haven’t stopped. Now I’m up to begin restoring the Triumph
Hello and welcome! Nice bike. Looks like your T140 is fitted with Norton 750 Commando Interstate silencers. If you ever decide to swap and sell them, let me know, please!
Thank you for the great receivement. I have one more set of this exhaust but I still don't know what I will use at the bike.. To be honest I haven't made up my mind what kind of bike to build = A OEM restoring or a classic cafe racer... I have spent last 8th years building italian V2 cafe racers and this is something new for me.. Its my second Triumph build, I did a Speed Four (The Ugly Duckling) some years ago to a friend of mine.
That's a VERY well executed cafe racer ..... CRK would be pleased with that! I LOVE the colour scheme and the paint finish ....... I just wouldn't fancy being a pillion passenger! Muy bonito.
British cars & bikes always fits good in green. Green as local beer, Whose name is part of my nickname.
El Vikingo Tropical Welcome to the family. Yes a sweet looking Bonnie you have there. They are loads of fun to ride. Joe.
El Vikingo Tropical You are going to absolutely love it. See that smile you got well the T140 will make that a permanent fixture. Joe.
As I'm just finishing some other projects I haven't begun with this one yet, But I have seen some things to be done as the bike came with one 6V and one 12V coil. I'm not use to have bikes with 6V systems, But the funny thing is that the bike starts at first kick... I have to do something with the instrument cluster as I just doesnt like how its look.
