I bought the 94R a few days ago and mainly got this exact one as it had the lowboy and I, for one, long rides or not, LOVE the popping sounds.

However, whatever bots should i consider getting from a safety, protection, ergonomic, resale and weight reason?

THe pics of the bike are here:

As far as I know, it has the exhaust and fork protectors. The handlebar looks to be 3rd party.
I assume the back seat cowl thingy was standard on this model.
Got a Tail tidy coming, thats it. Thinking my next purchase is frame sliders but not sure what to get.

    THanks.

there's a few different manufactures that make protectors R&G seem to be popular..Safety..go canny with the right wrist! ergonomics.. a scottoiler could be could be classed as ergonomic (unless I'm getting mixed up with economic!) resale..putting stuff on won't increase the value by much it will make the bike much more easy and quicker to sell though..better to remove all the expensive stuff you've put on and sell them. weight... i wouldn't worry about that you're not going to notice it..unless you're names Marquez!

Yep, Ohlins is standard on the R (and come in that nice black on the 94R), seat cowl and your handlebars are stock for the model. The bar end mirrors are extras (got mine:)), agree with Dougie they look better pointing in.... but function better pointing out (no elbows in the way).
LED indicators are also extras (got them too:)), and the cover on the rear wheel nut is extra too (you obviously already know about the fork protectors).
I've also got front and rear anodised brake reservoirs, front one makes the bars look much better, but the rear is probably overkill as you don't really notice it.
Got some cheap Chinese CNC'd adjustable brake/clutch levers in black to finish off the look.
I've also fitted EvoTech rad and oil cooler guards, look better (IMO) as well as protecting the rads, you can get discount if you buy from ConquestCarbon via this forum.
Best mod you could do is paint it black, you bought the wrong colour. ;)
Dougie's right again about value of extras, trading in (or private sale) you'll get naff all for them on the bike, much better to return it to standard and sell the bits on ebay.

Or go for some carbon fibre, there's a good choice and possibly some discount through the forum.
If your at OnYerBike give me a shout,it's just up the road from me,I'll point you in the direction of some good roads.

Yeah, might get the anodised front and am definitely considering changing the levers as the bike would look so much better in just black and yellow.

As it happens, was next to a black bike this morning waiting at the railway crossing this morning and all the school kids eyes lit up at the lovely bright yellow one, I dont think they noticed the black one.... :p

I quite like carbon but only if all the plastic is changed to carbon, which gets expensive.
I won;t on this bike as the standard black plastic actally looks pretty good.

I am sure I heard them say "Wow, that yellow and black bike looks like something out of the Transformers movie, well cool" followed by "That other bike that is almost invisible behind it, is it just black or it is just dirty?"

I know one of the young ladies definitely said "Real men ride on yellow bikes"

Anyway, don't know why we are having this bit of fun - I prefer Red bikes!! :D

It is the best looking combo :)
Plus, it brings in the yellow on the Arrow exhaust logo perfectly!

It was a horrid old, dirty black one.
Apparently, the production company couldn't find a yellow one as they are rarer, whereas they found this black one dumped by the studio lot..

Those off-road tyres are definitely cool (not).;)
Remember watching the end of the film again not too long ago, the stunts and continuity are so bad/corny it was hilarious.:D:D

Yeah, strange , as he is particularly well known for doing his own stunts.. obviously not in this case.
I am sure he can ride a mean bike but perhaps not to that skill level. Also, th production company will veto stunts if they have to , so maybe we can't blame him.
