Each day I receive an e-mail from BIKE EXIF, a global showcase for custom motorcycles established back in 2008. Today's featured bike caught my eye more than most. Tamarit Motorcycles in Alicante Spain built this Thruxton "Gullwing X" using as Its base a carbureted Triumph Thruxton powered by an 865cc air-cooled parallel twin. To me, this bike a great example of how a motorcycle can also be a work of art. :)

I don't like many of these customs, But that is very nice! I couldn't be having those tyres though

I'm with you on the tires, andyc! But I'm not very well versed on tire options. What would you choose to put on this bike??

Just an ordinary modern road tyre Sandi. I feel those current tyres are there for looks and nothing to do with performance. The front looks like it would have very slow turning characteristics being so flat. If I was lucky enough to own that beautiful machine, I'd be putting it to good use and riding it :)

    Dig the FCR39's :eyes:
Takes some skill to make that work. Velocity stacks as well, with no filters.
    Hmm...
They really are proud of the tail piece, as it is flashed numerous times.
    A elegant build all said.

Some lovely Avon cobras would suit the look and performance  I really do like the hub and spoke ends, having looked at the Canyon Motorcycle TT Wheels and the ones used Kineo.

No, I suspect not, @crispey . ;):joy: But it certainly would be a fun machine for bopping around town and I'd consider owning one. If, that is, I won the lottery and could build or buy a larger garage.

Different bikes for different purposes. That made me think of Ecclesiastes 3:1 from the Bible.

There are many Bible translations. The verse in the image below is the New International Version.

The New International Biker Version would go something like this:

There is a motorcycle for everything,
and a bike for every activity under the heavens.
