Triumph Tracker Plus Question

Discussion in 'Technical Help' started by Νάσος Απολλωνάτος, Jan 8, 2021.

  1. I hope this a question in the right spot.

Has anyone installed the tracker on his bike and do have any info to share? Is it worth it? And also additional costs after purchasing the equipment would be helpful.
You might even say “forget the tracker. Get an alarm. You’ll be better off” if that’s your opinion. Anyway need more info on the subject.

I have a tracker on my R3 GT - just good to know it is where I left it. It also sends battery condition alerts and tells me if the bike is in a high risk area. I like it....

@dilligaf had a tracker on his Rocket,
He made it himself  It was all housed inside his trailer that was permanently attached to his bike o_O if his bike moved he immediately jumped out of the trailer and beat them off with his handbag,:p:p
Seriously though he did indeed have a tracker, which was very reasonably priced and he thought it was worth it and value for money.

PS - Having mentioned him he will be along shortly with more details for you

Can’t remember how much I paid for it
But I can tell you that it works brilliantly :)
No subscription fees but you need a SIM card and it only tells the owner that the bike has been moved
Nobody will track the bike for you but using the app which uses google maps it works brilliantly when I tested it by getting wor lass to take the tracker with her
Obviously it needs to be hidden or disguised in your bike and it’s about this size:p image.jpg

Maybe can just seem that way, but really we are all just Forum members
A few of us have met up the odd time during organised meets, apart from that we don't really know each other just believe in the same love of motorcycles, and share the odd bit of friendly banter on here.
