Have you ever reflected on John Locke? I somehow doubt it.

There is a difference between questioning and denying but I doubt that sits comfortably with the blinkered classes.
And as a remainer mentioning electoral outcomes to justify an argument,I can’t help laughing at the hypocrisy.
The vast majority of people that catch Covid don’t die from it,infact many don’t even know they’ve got it and have to have tests to findout.Much more seriously, many more people have become paranoid and are suffering terribly and that for me is inhuman .

Well, continuing the recent trend to quote G B Shaw-

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place. :)

    Yet more divisive guff.

Since when did mentioning an example constitute justifying an argument?

More like ‘fair comment’ to my mind.

The entire basis of deterrence theory is a credible, capable threat communicated i.e. received and understood.

My experience on here is that much of what is written is skated over and flawed assumptions then made about what has actually been said. Understanding is ultimately the most important aspect.

The defence of honest comment (or fair comment as it used to be known) reflects the protection that English law affords to an honest person who expresses an opinion, however “prejudiced, exaggerated or obstinate” that view may be. Aside from the requirement that the comment must be on a matter of public interest, it must also be based on facts which are true and the comment must be recognisable as comment as distinct from an imputation or statement of fact. A statement of fact which is not true and tends to make people think worse of a person or exposes him or her to ridicule, may well be defamatory.
So, yes, fair or honest comment whether I agree or not.

    You’re welcome.

    The asymptomatic 90%.
Just to be clear Figwold,if you disagree with the above, doesn’t that make you a denier or is this divisive guff or probably an old favourite,a conspiracy theory?

You cannot be serious as someone once said.

1 I think all of us will deny something from time to time, but how can anyone deny “The asymptomatic 90%” when it is meaningless?
2 What is the definition of a “COVID-positive individual”?
3 Whatever it is, I don’t think anyone knows what percentage are asymptomatic, because by definition many asymptomatic people will never be identified or counted so there will be no reliable statistics anywhere.
4 Good for Deborah Birx, whoever she is.
5 No idea whether the pseudo-random collection of stats is correct or not. Why or how should I know? How would you know for that matter?
6 As for masks being “scientifically proven not to work against viruses”, what do you mean by “proven not to work”? We all know they aren’t perfect, but along with many scientists and medics I’m sure they have some effect in reducing viral load, which may be one reason (among others, certainly) why the death rate is lower than in the early days of the pandemic, And I really doubt you can support the paragraph-long sentence of tosh that is the Truth Seeker’s paragraph 8.
7 So exactly what “terrible side effects” have the vaccines already shown then? I look forward to you proving that one.

Up until this point on side-effects your post/link might have had some small teeny tiny shred of credibility, but that really shows that you haven’t, as Cal would say, applied any scepticism before posting.

Is it divisive guff? No, because by divisive guff I mean incorrectly and unfairly stereotyping people in an attempt to sow division.

But it does appear to be a lot of tosh mixed in with some statistics (which may or may not be correct) and a smidgen of logic to make it smell less like horseshit.

And, funnily enough, that is pretty much what a conspiracy theory looks like ;).

Which is hardly surprising when that very web page contains links to such gems as these:
    - Future Zombies, Rudolf Steiner 1923 Prophecy: A vaccine to sever the Spiritual Connection in Mankind
    - Joe Brand’s Prophetic Earthquake Vision: lF the events described here happen it will be seen as a karmic response to the Covid scam. God’s answer to man’s arrogance. Atlantis Part II. Whatever you call it this will stop Bill Gates plan dead in its tracks
    -
James Corbett in Democracy Down: James Corbett examines how Bill Gates Coronavirus vaccine could be delivered with “dissolvable micro-needles” that could be arrayed in “particle patterns” or marks invisible to the eye. As in the Mark of the Beast?
    -
Israeli Historian Discovers ‘6 Million’ Holocaust Figure Was Invented at Zionist Conference In 1944: The figure of 6 million was originally proposed at a meeting of high ranking Zionists in 1944 — more than a year before the war ended

So you’re reading, presumably believing, and then posting links to a conspiracy site promoting zombies, microchips in vaccines and Holocaust-denial? Really?

I’m pretty sure Cal would deny this page too, if he isn’t already cringing with embarrassment. I certainly hope he would.

You don’t half dribble on at times.....

Your first three points are barely intelligible being either:

A measure of your own confusion
    Or
    Deliberate obfuscation.

You may disagree but the simple contention is that 17-20% of genuine Covid infections are asymptomatic but that number rises to 90% or so if you add in false positive tests that appear in the statistics as ‘cases’. The infected asymptomatic might pass it on, the false +ves can’t because they haven’t got it.

    Simples?
