Mr. Sandi and I are signed up to get our first COVID vaccination on January 17th. We learned earlier today through out school district that as school psychologists we are part of Arizona's vaccination eligible group 1A. We were both surprised about that because everything that we'd heard or read to date indicated that we'd be in group 1B. We subsequently got an e-mailed letter from our school district with a link to two of the hospitals that are administering the vaccine and through which we could select and register with the location of our choice. So we both registered immediately and we're glad to be in the queue! I'm not sure which vaccine we'll get but I read an article in our newspaper this morning that leads me to believe that it'll be the one from Moderna.
Have faith in the Pfizer vaccine, don't forget they make Viagra, if they can raise the dead they can save the living.
Glad you and Mr Sandi getting the vaccine Sandi that's pretty quick, but then the UK has a different notion of quick Most of us older bods are still wondering jut when it's actually going to happen for us.

A couple of nights ago my son sat and held a lady's hand as she took her final breaths. Her family weren't allowed to be there, but they wrote him a very touching thank you note. A grim business which is all too real, whatever some may espouse. I don't for a moment think Zac's experience is unique, sadly.
The response emoji list just doesn't contain representations of all of the emotions that we seem to feel and need these days. A "like" response doesn't indicate how I felt as I read your post, Smilinjack. What I really needed was a very, very sad face. I'm so sorry for what your son faces and so sad as well for those patients and their families like the woman whose hand Zac held a couple of night's ago.
The only thing worse than being there in those moments is not being there. It's incredibly sad for everyone involved. At least that that poor lady wasn't alone. Much respect to Zac.
