Best mpg so far, and with bike in Sport mode for 3/4 of the ride.

Top of the range àbove the Mooloolah Valley, Sunshine Coast hinterland, looking towards the Pacific Ocean.
A perfect spring day for a ride on a public holiday.

Finally got my new (to me) 2017 Street Scrambler home yesterday. 100 mile ride from the dealer through New England during the best time of the year to ride! Still under 500 miles on the odometer!

Got my new license plate to slap on (the one from last pics was just a transfer plate) just in time to catch some of the last warm rays of the fall, looking over the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts.

Fitted this today, runs smooth on the bitumen so far while scrubbing it in a bit.

The Mark 4 Pivot Pegz arrived today and fitted straight up no problems.
Footrest is a fair bit larger than the OEM peg. You have to file off a few mm of the raised triangle above the pivot hole on the right side peg so that it folds up further when tipped over. Left side is fine.

Tried the new Mark 4 Pivot Pegz out going through Glasshouse today. A bit wet and muddy here and there. The new pegs are a lot more comfortable and make it easier to stand up quickly. Keeps your legs away from the engine and exhaust too. No problems with reaching the shifter and rear brake. Very happy with them.

Sorry but they are old stands with no brand name showing. They would have been cheap though. Get some bobbins and pick a newer version

    I love it!

The black looks really uniform too - I’ve seen it done before and it looked like black over gold with an ‘oil on water’ appearance where the colour separates into blue/purple/yellow.
