I certainly would say that 60% moral cowards is quite possible in the modern climate where it seems that law and order and justice are a nuisance within the current culture of drugs, and dissolution where gambling, perversion and crime are now being pushed as the norm.

I don't think my views are extreme. I think it is my honest opinion which I have the freedom to express, for the moment at least. Are you going to complain to Wayne about the nasty man? I know that there is a growing movement in the world to silence all those who don't agree with the 'new regime' but some of us refuse to be cowed and silenced I wonder if I have just earned a ban although, to be honest I couldn't give a stuff as it kinda sucks around here now with all the ego masturbation and 'moral high ground' superiority complexes being paraded..

Not even sure what that means, but I’ve never reported a post on any forum I’ve been a member of so I’m unlikely to start now. I have no problem with you offering an opinion, either, whether I respect it or not.

With death penalty debate, we touch not only religion, but philosophy, how the guilty are perceived (I recommend the serie "Mind Hunter").
And also a part of culture. Some country are by history more into than than others.
Sure I'm against for plenty of reasons, but as stated beyond, what lead someone to be for/against come from so much parameters, than it's not worst the pain to discuss about that on a forum.
As I read against are "moral coward" or similar things is not a valid idea exchange.
My daughter is close to be graduated in criminology, (in UK) and discussing with her give some light on the violent people process.
I won't say people for death penalty are "__put there any insult, or degrading word__", It's just they have different view, history, culture, belief.
There in France, country of the guillotine, the debate is not any more on death penalty for a long time, it moved on the sentence strict application. This is a cultural change. It took 40 years.

I don’t think anyone is really FOR the death penalty. I just find it hard to hold a convicted murderers life in high regard, when by their actions they have no regard for human life. If someone took my daughters last breath senselessly, I would want them to leave this earth before I take mine. If that makes me morally corrupt, so be it.

I’m happy with execution as the ultimate penalty. I’m happy with self chosen euthanasia for the very sick.
But it’s not the law in this country and I’m ok with that too. I’m perfectly happy that America’s own internal laws allow execution, should it be seen that is something that should change, that is something for the political party’s to campaign on...
    Seems fair enough to me

Not my opinion, but I understand and can respect your view on that.

I'll see your meaningless trope, and raise you one pearl of wisdom.

A long listen, not at all about the election, but definitely about Uncle Sam’s Scorecard. First time I’ve heard Edward Snowden talk, and at some length, about his “crimes” and the USA. Definitely food for thought.

Far from straightforward and no simple answer in separating bad law and practices from illegal revelations. His self justification about allowing jurors to decide is a non-starter. Juries make findings of fact. The judge explains and enforces the law upon conviction on the facts. His disclosures were unquestionably damaging so, in my view, he deserves charging with something that recognises the breach of trust balanced with the public good done. After all, he did let some water out of the Swamp.
Trump is more sympathetic to Snowden than Obama and his predecessors. Doubtless because he later found out how State apparatus was illegally used against him by Obama and his stay behind troops.........and it continues.
