They think it’s all over..... https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/en...hijack-presidency_uk_5fd486a6c5b689a6230ae551 It is now.........
I used the word "shameful" earlier, and I'll say it again. The GOP is now a shambles of a party, and I genuinely hope that they pay a price for that in the Georgia run-offs.
Quick step in here people, keep in friendly and remember threads are not about getting one over each other . Opinions about the subject, but not about each other please .
The damage has been done and I suspect many people will believe there was some conspiracy and the election was rigged - they will always vote republican regardless, and attribute Trump and his GOP cult hero status If there’s enough of them they’ll keep getting in Views on the 2020 election will be uttered in the same breath as Area 51!
Yes, and I have no doubt that this "legacy" was the driving force behind Trump's nonsense in the first place.
Well said. They have shown a complete lack of integrity that should haunt them for a generation irrespective of policies. Is there anyone in the GOP capable of becoming a true leader?
Sometime things need to go to far to .be cleaned and renewed. Démocracy needs plurality. Gop voters are respectable as they vote on principles not pushed by too much religion/conspi crazyness/xenophobia/etc People thinking économy first can help them to keep their job is understandable. What is not is the post truth/conspi level, raised at the head of the biggest démocratic country in the world. And this has an impact on all other countries. Trump was the first post truth président. I m optimistic that historic gop people like Mit Romney des not support Trump behavior anymore.
I think you may be right, I’m wondering if this is all about laying the foundations for a 2024 presidential bid
To be fair there’s probably quite a few, we just don’t hear them because of the big orange wall of noise..
It would be nice to live in such a Utopian world, I wonder whether Trump was a great experiment to see how far the electorate would let them go and then set future policy accordingly
To miss quote Kipling "What the { Rebublican party} is aiming at is power, but power without responsibility, the prerogative of the harlot throughout the ages."
Not much is as it seems. The only key date in the Constitution is 20 Jan. Barr’s resignation letter is ‘curious’.
