"Put a Fender Extender on it" the salesman says when I ordered the bike...."it stops the shit on the road splatting up onto the radiator"....."keeps your Street Twin looking good" he reckons.

    Yeah right !!

That's not good. I have one on my trophy and it works OK as have others I have had on different bikes. Always seems to be the rears that don't work for me

I agree with Littleade, looking at the mud splatter, especially on the tank / radiator top, it looks to me that the front mudguard is too narrow and allowing dirt to spray out from the sides…….

I think you've hit the nail on the head with that littleade..... item not designed for purpose I reckon.

My mate (with the same bike as you) has been trying to cure the problem he has too with road grime splattering up the back of the pillions legs, I think the crud catcher worked for him also.

I agree - already put a rear-hugger on the Tiger and the fenda-extenda is on it's way. Oh did I mention the radiator guard I fitted?

Fitted a Fenda-Extenda on my Speedmaster and it works like it says on the tin. theres just a bit of spatter on the bottom of the engine block but nothing ACF 50 can't deal with. I have been thinking of knocking up a cowl/guard thingy to stop it for good though.
