What would you rather have, salted ice free roads or skating rinks. The roads are dangerous enough as it is FFS! Just prepare the bike, keep on top of the cleaning and ride.:)

Given the right tyres though, it could be fun.

Proper covering of snow up here this morning.

The days of riding my 125 trailie to work (and falling off,) and staying out after work sliding about and doing 360's (and falling off) are long gone!

Hello mate how are you? Long time no speak, how are things going nowadays?
What are you riding, still the Tracer? I decided a change was due so I've got an ST3 Duke. It's OK but seems to get through fuel very easily, especially by comparison to the Tracer.

    Cheers
    Dave

    You and me both mate!
We had our first covering yesterday but all gone now :grinning:
Years ago, when the snow came down I used to go out on a TY250 for some fun! Crazy. Nowadays I wait till the roads are clear before venturing out. The Berg is a hoot in the dirt with a snow covering but on tarmac, forget it!
I retired in April after 42+ years of working outside in all weathers, climbing ladders and service poles. Numb fingers and toes, frozen knees, snow down your neck, hot aches. None of that from now on. Yippeeeeeeee!

I forgot about frozen knees. ( Extra pair of Nike joggies right?)
There is a brilliant thread on here showing our absolute ignorance of “dressing right for the occasion “ In current rhetoric it’s a wonder, nae a fkn marvel we are still alive! Well at least I have accomplished summit!

Snow there, and some icing over the snow. Waiting for a bit of dry roads to ride.
