She seems solid and sensible. And there seemed to be cross-party support for “putting it right” - the process. Long overdue it seems.

But this is not evidence of systemic and large scale fraud. It is evidence of flaws in the actual process, which must be addressed for the good of democracy.

    This reads as self contradictory.

She describes habitual fraud in the State of Michigan and cities like Detroit but for you that is neither systemic nor large scale. They just ignored their own electoral law and have done for years.

As Mrs Brown would say, “That’s nice.”

Her statement isn’t evidence of systemic or large scale fraud.

It is evidence of broken controls, clerical errors, and her view that these have allowed some fraud to have happened for years at a scale she cannot quantify and doesn’t believe anyone can accurately quantify.

And by definition broken controls and clerical errors are not systemic.

I'm quite sure you know this already but I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere around here.
It's long been the practice that some media outlets, not just CNN, call the results. It's not official but over time they've always been close to the actuality so people generally agree it's enough to work with. So you're correct about the difference between 'elect; and 'presumptive' but for practical purposes the winner is called 'elect'.

So far no one seems to have raised a substantial amount of evidence for massive voter fraud that'll hold water. Even Republicans are drifting away from the fight. The Trump team seems to have a lot of bark but not much bite.

There is a paper trail for every vote, if there’s any question it should be followed up on, every time. If this has been an ongoing issue, it should have been resolved at that time. It should be investigated now as well.

    Sticking to the facts....

Yesterday (Tuesday) the US Department of Justice (DOJ) issued a statement in response to the backlash from an article by The Associated Press which quoted Attorney General William Barr saying that “to date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have effected a different outcome in the election.”

“Some media outlets have incorrectly reported that the DOJ has concluded its investigation of election fraud and announced an affirmative finding of no fraud in the election. That is not what the Associated Press reported nor what the Attorney General stated,” a DOJ spokesperson said, according to CBS News reporter Catherine Herridge. “The Department will continue to receive and vigorously pursue all specific and credible allegations of fraud as expeditiously as possible.”

But, the AP’s own article prefaced Trump’s comments by saying that “Barr told the AP that U.S. attorneys and FBI agents have been working to follow up specific complaints and information they’ve received.”

That was central to Linda Lee Tarver’s testimony. 71% of ballots could not pass audit.

I’m pleased to see that’s what the good old BBC reported yesterday.

I think she actually said that they would not be able to be properly audited without unsealing the ballot boxes, which is very different.

What gets me is the sheer incompetence of the Democrats. They went out of their way in every swing state to fix the election for Biden, but neglected to fix it for their House and Senate candidates. I mean, how dumb can you get?

But they did manage the big ticket.

I hear a full investigation is already underway in the Kremlin and heads are likely to roll.

It is fertile ground for data analysts and psephologists because voting patterns are allegedly so wildly different at different stages of the count along with the inherent improbability of 100% of military votes going to Biden. That sort of analysis will doubtless form part of legal arguments.

Enough to know they exhibit independence of thought and tend to have a Republican bias. They are not as woke as you. I accept Harry Wales has been re-programmed. 100%? Nah!

And you “know” that 100% of their votes went to Biden then ...?

Out of interest where did you hear/see/imagine reports that 100% of military votes were counted for Biden?
