Paddock stands

Hi Sam I have paddock stands as pictures shows but i regret having them as cannot move bike around, I wished I had gone with a bike lift with jockey wheels, my front paddock has a pin that goes into lower yoke and rear has rubber pads that locate under swing arms.

 

Crispey maybe able to give you a link he has got one but you need to see if it will suit your bike Sam,

Hoping that this is what you mean I got this for my Thruxton.
For the price it seems well built, obviously not in England....I didnt need the 2 clamps that sit between the frame as I couldnt get them under the bike, but I glued on some rubber matting along the flat surface & it does the job. Be warned though, you will struggle to actually raise the bike off the ground both wheels tho. Its not as stable as a centre stand, but it will do the job.

 

Ok....So Ive just read the thread & I guess that this kind of lift isnt what you are after after all.....

 

I am sure crispey one has castors so you can lift it then use it to rotate or move around garage.

 

Yes, I know the sort....Not crispey.... Its quite a big lump....No not crispey again, but I know the one Samc is talking about

 

Sam was asking about paddock stands and I mentioned the lift with castors as a better option help needed in a crispey form

This is the one I have, it only works if your frame goes under the bike. You can wheel it around carefully. Good thing is you can get it so wheels are well off the ground or both touching ground, I was able to adjust it so there was no pressure on rear springs so I could change them with no effort, yes it's heavy but it folds up nearly flat, about 5" thick for storage.

 

Does it come in blue crispey?

The bike sits on it, you gave to get the centre of balance right, if you want more security just get a couple of straps. I can't fault it.
